Welcome to the NeuroBioInformatics Lab (NBIL) of School of Data Science at the University of Virginia. Our research is in the field of mental health data science, focusing on statistical and computational approaches leveraging multi-modal imaging and genetics to understand typical and atypical brain development.
Aiying and Chang presented their work, “ConnectMVR: A Supervised Brain Connectivity Analysis Framework for Predicting Behavioral Outcomes”, at the Design and Data Analysis hosted by UVA Quantitative Psychology.
Ziqian Zhang joined the NBIL Lab as my first PhD student. She began her PhD in the UVA School of Data Science in Fall 2025. Welcome aboard, Ziqian!
